'When you live in a city...'

Commissioned by the Municipality of Amsterdam, this video clip against racism was made as a part of a youth participation project.

Respectrum is a group of 15 youngsters living in Amsterdam. They started the campaign against racism in 1997.
Respectrum means: Respect all colors.

The group also developed a series of postcards and a poster against racism.

Director Maurits Nibbering also supervised the development of the screenplay.

The video clip was broadcasted in 1997 on Dutch television.
